Dedicated caregiver in desperate need of help

Hi everyone I'm doing a fundraiser for a co-worker of mine. Her name is Lorie H. While at work not too long ago she collapsed and found out that her intestine had ruptured. She was so concerned with the ones she cares for not having the help they needed, she wouldn't call in sick. She almost died as her intestines leaked poison into her body. She spent the next week in in the hospital, and when she came home, thought she was on her way to recovery. Almost 2 weeks after she got home she became very sick again. Although she has not had a time in her life where she didn't have a job, she does not qualify for sick paid time off and because of that is in desperate need of help. She is the kind of person that brightens the day of the elders she works with.  She makes sure they have what they need and their lives are better because she's there. Her dedication is rare and she brings that to work every day. In the beginning of her illness she was in excruciating pain. She was not able to eat or sleep and was still coming to work every day and showing up for the residents. We as a community need to come together and reward this excellent caregiver by taking care of her as she has taken care of so many that needed her help. Lori needs help with household bills, groceries, and medical expenses. Please give what you can and if you can't please pass this along so others may help her. Thank you very much.
