Dedham Clippers LAP THE POOL FUNDRAISER 2025

Hello!

The annual Dedham Clippers LAP THE POOL FUNDRAISER (formally called the SWIMATHON) is being held this year on Monday, January 13, 2025. We will be structured slightly different this year. Our event is from 6:15 pm to 9 pm. We will have all age groups doing their laps from 6:15 - 7:45pm. Then we will have games and goodies for all that are able to stay.

Every year, our Clipper Swim Team holds a swim event to help defray the cost of various swim-related costs. As a direct result of your generosity over the years, we have been able to replace lane lines, purchase the new electronic 6-lane scoreboard, and the starting system, as well as help with the costs of banquets. One of the swim related items we would like to purchase is a storage cabinet that is dedicated to the Clipper team to keep on deck for all of our important components for a swim meet.

All money raised will go directly to the Clipper swim team for items that we need over the course of the year. We would be so honored for your help this year as in the past years.

You can contribute in a few ways:

1) A contribution here via the GoFundme link. We ask that you make a note in the comments on which swimmer you are supporting.

2) A check payable to "Friends of Dedham Clippers Swim Team". Please note the swimmer's name in the memo section of the check.

3) We ask that you share and share and share our link so that we can raise as much money as possible to support the team.

You may support the swimmers with a per-lap donation or a flat rate. All contributions are GREATLY APPRECIATED!! We will keep the campaign open for about two weeks after the event to collect any additional funds. We will close out the 2025 campaign on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
