Hi everyone. As many of you know, we lost a truly wonderful human on Monday September 20, 2021 when we lost Dede Souza after her brief battle with cancer. The outpouring of messages of love have been incredible.

Dede left her mark on so many, but perhaps her greatest accomplishments were her children. Katrina and the family have been by Dede's side through her illness and seeing through her final wishes and like usual, Katrina has dove right in. Unfortunately, this is made even more difficult by the great financial task that is burying a loved one. Though Dede was sick, her time was much shorter than anyone anticipated, leaving not much time to pull together funds.

My wish is to help alleviate some of the burden with the financial piece for Katrina. She has had tremendous loss and shown incredible strength. The help that has been received already has been incredibly heartwarming and invaluable. Let's see this through and help the Souza family lay their mother, sister, daughter and invaluable friend to rest.
