Dede’s memorial and David’s medical costs

Hello family and friends. My name is Jeanyne DeMuth and my friends and I created a GoFundMe account to help out two amazing friends who are facing a scary time right now. Dede and David are in the middle of some tough medical times no one ever expects. On Saturday, September 4th, after trying to combat a bad “bug” at home, Dede was taken to the hospital because she kept struggling to breathe. As we all feared, she was admitted and diagnosed with Covid. David has been quite unwell too, but home resting and doing his best to heal, thank goodness.

They started out with the normal administration of oxygen to try and get her levels up, but she was still struggling. They tried a c-pap type machine but she still struggled. Late this morning, it was finally decided that she had to be put on a ventilator. Their daughter Kylie was able to go see her before then and said she was coherent and knew that this was the best thing for her so she can heal and get back home. Every attempt is being made to help Dede recover.

Because this has hit them so hard, the financial impact will be extreme. Neither are able to work and won’t be able to for some time to come. Being self-employed is terrible during times like these, when unexpected things we hope never happen, happen. If you can find it in your heart to help them in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. It’s hard for them to accept help like this, as it is for any of us. But, they know that the love people have for them goes far beyond pride right now. Thank you all for taking the time to read my message. We appreciate you all so much.
