I am a reading specialist at a Title 1 school in Naperville. As crazy as it sounds, I don’t have decodable books for kids that I work with. I use a program that uses decodable passages with no pictures. They aren’t fun or engaging and hard to follow for my little ones. The books I want to get them align with the program that I teach and are exactly what these kids need to become life long readers. Anything will help!
