Declan’s Journey to The Golden Gloves National Championship!

Declan “Jake” Hanaphy (22 years old) formally of Hanson, MA who now resides in Abington, MA has won the New England Golden Gloves Heavyweight Championship!

Declan will be moving on to the Golden Gloves National Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 12th-17th 2025 where he will be competing to be the Golden Gloves National Heavyweight Champion of America!

He trains out of South Shore Boxing Club a non-profit boxing gym of Whitman, MA, owned by the Phippen family, where they have been mentoring the youth of boxing since 1987.

Declans strength, resilience, and dedication to the sport of boxing is fueled by his unwavering faith in the Lord. Through his dedication to both his craft and his trust in the Lord, Declan demonstrates that in the face of adversity, true strength comes from a disciplined mind and a heart devoted to God.
