Declan's journey to beating leukemia

Declan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Declan, Katie, Kyle, and Finley have a long road ahead. Donations will go towards medical bills during this journey. Please give what you can, and continue to pray for this sweet boy ❤️.

Update 11/25/23

Declan is in the PICU at Children's Mercy Hospital after having devolved adverse reactions to one of his chemotherapy medications. He started having seizures. MRI results showed blood clots in his brain, which was causing the seizures. He is now on an antiseizure medication and a blood thinner to dissolve the blood clots. His seizures have slowed down. Declan smiled today for the first time since Wednesday-God is so good and has His healing hands on Declan! He will be in the hospital for at least another week. All donations continue to go towards medical bills, and every little bit helps. If unable to give, prayers are always needed for the Kraemers. Thank you all for the continuous love, support, and prayers!

Update 12/6/23

Declan is in REMISSION!! He has been home from the hospital for a week, the blood thinners and antiseizure meds are doing their job. Declan will continue chemotherapy treatments for the next 2.5 years. Any fever Declan gets in that time frame automatically means a 48 hour stay at the hospital. Due to the magnitude of medical expenses, the goal has been raised.

The Kraemers are so thankful for everything that has been, and will be given, and are getting through this difficult time putting their trust in God. Thank you all, and keep those prayers coming! ❤️
