In Memory of Declan Hassall
Donation protected
On 24th April Charles and I will be running the London Marathon in honour of Declan Hassall.
Many people, especially young people may not know or appreciate the costs associated with tragic circumstances. Therefore, being able to help out our friends and their family is a great privilege. With the Hassall's permission, Charles and I will raise money towards Declan's head stone and associated costs.
The loss of Declan will continue to be deeply felt by everyone who knew him, we just hope we can rally together with the community feel we’ve witnessed since his passing, to support the Hassall family.
Calum came up with #Aliveinus so we think it's fitting to be running with this slogan/brand on our shirt during the marathon.
Last year Charles ran for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in memory of Linda Shaw and was delighted to raise nearly £1,000 – especially as the original target was significantly lower! I’m sure Linda will be in his thoughts again this year.
If you choose to donate, we are very grateful. Thank you.
“Life is precious and is to short to be unhappy and to be full of negative energy! Make the most of your life and live life to the max! Cherish special moments and cherish the loving and caring people around you!” – words by Declan Hassall that will stay with us.
