I am reaching out to everyone, especially those who may have had a loved one diagnosed with cancer and understand the overwhelming challenges that lie ahead…
We recently learned my sister-in-law Donna Marie [Smith-Corrado] Solar [my brother Bobby’s wife] has been diagnosed with Stage 3B Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer [NSCLC]. As is the case with many form(s) of cancer, it is an extremely aggressive one.
She recently began an aggressive regiment of the first two-of-four-rounds of chemotherapy treatment(s) and [33] scheduled radiation treatments in a span of [37] day(s) beginning on April 9th in the hope it will slow down, and God-willing, eradicate this deadly form of cancer. Her chances of beating NSCLC is usually no greater than 26%.
Unfortunately, because Donna is too weak to work at this time they are falling behind financially and with their medical bills mounting I am hoping we can do everything possible to lessen this overwhelming burden they are dealing with every second of every day.
Due to her ailing health and medical treatments, she is too weak and incapable of doing what she enjoys most-in-life, being a Registered Nurse [RN] at Winchester Rehab & Nursing Center. She spent most of her nursing career working at Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere, MA.
She has graciously helped so many people over the years, and now she is the one that needs our help.
I kindly request from the bottom-of-my-heart that you please share my link to your Facebook Timeline, as we hope to raise the funds necessary to assist Donna and Bobby during this very difficult time.
