Noel Lopez, my band mate and one of the nicest guys I know, called me very early this morning... at first he sounded uncertain on why he called and was very reluctant to share what was on his mind.   It was a call for prayers and assistance for the surgery of his 54 year old sister-December Lopez Bognot- who is in the Philippines battling her stage 4 colon cancer.    He didn't know how to start or ask, his voice was filled with much uncertainty.  I heard him whisper to God to give him direction on what he should do.   A moment of silence followed and then he started to tell the story of what his sister will be going through on this day.  She is currently undergoing surgery as I write this appeal for help.  Noel's heart is filled with trust in God,  he has gone through and is going through personal challenges of his own and yet he never questions God's plans.  He knows only God can save his sister now, in His time.   Meanwhile, the cost of the surgery and other related costs will probably be in ₱1,000,000.00 range or more.  His whole family, his siblings and even his own children have put together whatever finances they can muster but they know they will still come up short.   Noel knows that whatever amount we can provide will help greatly in their fundraising campaign.  We set up this gofundme project to make it easier for potential donors like you to donate.  Please help out.  Let's all do our best not only to help fill their financial need but also to share this project with your friends and family who might be willing to help as well.  Thank you and God bless us all.
