December Hardship: Seeking Community Support

Hi everyone, as embarrassing as this is, I don’t know where else to turn. If I can’t get past this month I’m afraid I will have to pack up and hope a family member will take me in. As a lot of you know, I’ve been told I’m permanently disabled so I’ve been dealing with that but have went more and more into the hole financially. First let me tell you what happened to get me into this mess. I’ve been renting my rooms out and about 2 weeks ago one of my roommates passed away and I was left to clean out his room and try to rent it. Unfortunately this being December and close to Christmas, no one is looking for a place to rent, so with rent and bills due, I can’t afford it on my own so I’m reaching out to see if anyone would be willing to help me. The reason for the amount is bills and rent. After all these years trying to help others in our community, I find myself needing help. If I can get past this month and this situation, I’m hoping I can get back on my feet. I’ve never asked for help and I find this devastating to do this but I don’t know what else to do. If anyone can help with any amount I’d be forever grateful. I’m having a hard time writing this so I better stop here. This community is everything to me and I hope I get get past this.
