Dear Valued Guests,
As we all chart these unnavigated waters together, yet alone or socially distanced, we find ourselves facing new challenges. We went from employing nearly 30 people to now keeping a small staff to support our takeout option in this new and, hopefully, temporary world. While we have encouraged our employees to apply for unemployment, this will not be enough for most, especially with many reporting they are still having trouble getting through to unemployment services.
With encouragement from some of our guests, we have decided to set up this GoFundMe account to help support our valued employees through this time of great uncertainty with 100% of all proceeds going directly to our employees. We know this is a challenging time for everyone if you can’t donate, please help spread the word. Whatever you can give, will be greatly appreciated. All employees received their paychecks for March 19th, but we would love to offer them something more at the beginning of April.
At decarli restaurant, we are focused on keeping our business going forward with our take out menu and keeping costs as tight as possible. We feel we can weather this (pandemic) storm and come out the other side when deemed permissible to do so. In the meantime, we so appreciate our community's support and are humbled by all of comments and concerns for all of us here at decarli.
