Help Kirkwood Family of 50 Years after House Fire!

Donation protected
Hi Kirkwood neighbors! Our friends, the Thrasher family, lost their home on Hosea (across from Israel Baptist Church) to a catastrophic fire on June 13th; almost nothing on the inside of the home is salvageable. Mother Thrasher, Joyce, and the four generations of family that have been a constant, warm presence in the neighborhood for over 50 years will have to start from scratch. Luckily, the Thrasher family has home insurance and will be able to use those funds to rebuild the structure. However, they will need assistance covering basic needs, such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, phone chargers, etc., that were destroyed in the fire. We, as neighbors, have an opportunity to show love and support to a wonderful family that has welcomed many of us to Kirkwood. We (neighbors Joe Cacioppo and Lori Glidewell) are facilitating this campaign but all funds will go directly to Joyce and her mother, Ms. Thrasher. We are more than happy to answer any questions! We love this Kirkwood community for how kind and giving you are and we thank you in advance for helping our friends through this trying time.
