Deca Iron Continuous in Poland

My Name is Gustavo Vieira – and I’m Heading Into My Second Deca Ultra Triathlon in Poland 

 Born in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and now living in Dublin, Ireland, I’m 31 years old and driven by a passion for travel, adventure, and pushing the limits of what the human body and spirit can achieve. 

 I work in security—a profession that’s taught me discipline, resilience, and mental toughness. These same qualities helped me accomplish something that once felt impossible: I became a Deca athlete. Becoming a Deca Finisher What started as a dream in 2023 is now my reality. After losing 25 kg, learning how to swim, and conquering Iron and Double Iron events, I completed my first Deca Ironman Continuous—a race that involves 38 km of swimming, 1,800 km of cycling, and 420 km of running. Fewer than 200 people worldwide have ever done it. Now, I’m preparing to do it all over again. On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12 a.m., I will begin my second Deca Ironman Continuous in Łowicz/Mysłaków, Poland. Why I’m Asking for Your Support This isn’t just about crossing finish lines.
