DECA Internationals 2019

Hi, our names are Jessica Clarke and Trent Couse. This past weekend, we competed together at the North Carolina DECA States competition and received second in the Buying and Merchandising Team Decision Making event, qualifying us for the international level of competition! DECA is an organization that prepares students to be successful leaders and professionals through a series of competitions. DECA Internationals is being held in Orlando, Fl this year, making it an expensive trip for each of us. With months of hard work leading up to our second place finish, we would love to have the opportunity to compete at Internationals. Not only would we be competing, but expanding our knowledge on career development, networking with industry professionals and helping lead our DECA chapter given that we are both student officers for our school's DECA chapter. This trip will help us immensely in the future as we prepare to go to college and pursue our careers. 

We would both be extremely appreciative of any help received to achieve our goal of attending and competing at DECA Internationals.  This has been a shared dream of ours, and we are so excited for this opportunity! Thank you in advance!
