Help & Support Bangladesh In Need - Dec 2021

Salaam everyone,

 

I hope you’re all well.

 

Insha’Allah, this December 2021, I will be travelling to Bangladesh for 3 weeks and will be fundraising to help those less fortunate than us.

 

Thousands are continuously dying in Bangladesh due to not having access to basic necessities & with the upsurge of COVID19, conditions have worsened for each citizen. As we continue to educate ourselves and learn more, the realisation of how privileged we are is truly humbling. Alhamdulilah.

 

We are all so blessed to have a roof over our heads, food on a plate to keep us full & plenty of other things we tend to overlook and take for granted. One of the best ways to be grateful to Allah swt is to give back & help those in need.

 

Allah swt says, “O believers give of what We have provided for you” (Qur’an 2:254)

 

I am so grateful for this experience as I’ll be able to personally plan, organise & distribute this money with the help of my family back home.

 

The money raised will be used to provide food, money, and clothing for those most in need – 100% of donations will go towards the cause (I will cover the processing costs- JustGiving will take 3%).

 

I will be documenting my journey throughout & plan to take numerous pictures / updates along the way to provide everyone with information on how much money was raised and how it was used.
