Debutante Kennedi Carter

Greetings Family and Friends,

I am Debutante Kennedi Carter, daughter of Melanie Bell-Carter and the late Kent Carter. I attend Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA. Upon graduation I plan to continue my education at a university majoring in Veterinary Medicine.

I am pleased to announce that I was selected to participate in the 2023 Debutante Cotillion program, presented by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® XI UPSILON OMEGA CHAPTER in partnership with the Sisters of Ivy Educational Foundation, Inc.

The objective of a Debutante Cotillion is to provide the opportunity for young ladies to enhance their social skills through participation in various educational, cultural, community service, and personal development activities. Training seminars, service projects, cultural events, and the leadership academy are some of the activities provided to influence debutantes to serve their communities, strive for the highest standards, build upon leadership skills, ensuring a more well rounded young lady is presented to society.

Participating in the Debutante Cotillion

Scholarship Program will assist me in pursuing my goals of creating lasting relationships with fellow debutantes, participating in activities designed to foster cultural enrichment, personal development, and academic achievement.

Due to the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations each year, as a major fundraiser; the Debutante Cotillion Program has been able to provide financial educational awards to participating debutantes as well as students from the local communities each year.

I pledge to do my part to support this amazing service, ensuring this year’s event is a success. You can help me on this journey by contributing on my behalf. With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal. All amounts contributed are helpful!
