Hello!

I am Jared Oates. I am raising money to help fund my first solo music project, entitled On This Road. I am a Bay Area-based creative, with a massive passion for creating great music. On This Road, EP will include four songs, which explore the themes of self-reliance and accountability. This is a monumental step for me because I have never released music as a solo artist before and I am ready to share an essential piece of myself with the world.

Being the youngest of eleven, I found it difficult to be heard. Singing and songwriting became the best forms of expression for me. It gave me the freedom to say exactly what I needed and bond with people in ways I never knew possible. Over time, I have been exposed to various musical stylings, including R&B, Rock, Gospel, Classical, and Musical Theatre. This music exposure helped me to forge my unique approach to music creation. An approach that blazes with embers of honesty, desire, and unyielding inspiration.

I will be working with The Finishers, a team of dynamic studio engineers and producers. With their help, I can ensure that my debut project is top-tier. Fusing the elements of R&B, Pop, and Classical with heartfelt lyrics, my goal is to create a sound that is thought-provoking, entrancing, and something you need to hear. Creating this project is not going to be easy. I have reached a point where I cannot do this without your help! Your donations would really help kickstart my music career.
