For those who don't know me, my name is Mattie Rose and I am a Texas-raised country music singer/songwriter trying to make it in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. As a full-time student at Belmont University, I work two jobs to battle the student loans every college student builds up over time. Music has always been my greatest passion and pursuing it has always been my biggest dream. I have released two singles in the past year. One of them is an upbeat tune called "Square One" and the second one is a heart-wrenching ballad titled "Leavin' Tennessee." With the help of friends and family, I was able to work with the incredible Buddy Hyatt located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
With it being summer, I am back in Texas working remotely as a Social Media Coordinator for two bars in South Texas and I am a nanny for 5 wonderful kiddos. I also have gigs in North & South Texas lined up for the weekends!
My biggest dream has always been to record songs I have written myself, both music and lyrics. I have decided it is time to "hit the gas" on my music career and record a 5 song EP right here in Fort Worth, Texas! But I need your help. These days musicians, producers, and background vocals are expensive and it is hard to find the people that fit your style and personality. I am trying to raise money in an effort to provide the talented Fort Worth Sound Studio with the proper compensation they deserve. Currently, I can not afford to get my album done without them.
