Dear Friends,

My name is Linda Esperanza and I’m a singer and songwriter. In 2020 I decided to take a flight to Berlin and since then I've been diving deep into what it means to find my own voice. Since four years I've been writing songs, combining style with story telling and creating meaningful performances. Now I want to create my first Album.

The process of believing in myself was most of the time lonely. I heard from important people around me that my songs weren't enough. That's when I closed my eyes and decided that even if no one believed in myself, I would make it anyways. And so I went, presenting my songs in open mics of berlin.

Over the past four years, I’ve played more than 70 gigs at amazing venues like Badehaus, Gretchen, and LIDO. I’ve even had the honor of opening for Moreno Veloso and Bem Gil on their European tour, and touring in Poland with my band. Along the way, I’ve written a collection of songs that capture my journey—my search for freedom, belonging, and home. Now, I’m ready to take the next step: creating my debut album.

Why I need your help:

The album will feature songs in Portuguese and English, inspired by the rich diversity of influences I’ve embraced—Brazilian rhythms, jazz, pop, and folk. This is for me a way of telling my story, sharing the things I lived and the way I've been experiencing the world. My goal is to create a whole new vision to art, mixing performance, visuals and a large range of music styles.

Making this album is a dream I’ve been working toward for years, but it’s a dream I can’t achieve alone. Producing, recording, mixing, and mastering an album with the quality I envision requires resources I simply can’t afford right now. Your support will go directly to:

Recording is planned for February 2025, with the album set to release in the European summer of 2025.

This album is my way of saying thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey so far. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to making this dream a reality.
