Frankie Goes Debt-Free

Hello everyone!
I’m Frankie, I graduated from UConn in 2019 with a double major in Communications and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I’ll be returning this Fall to pursue a Master’s in Public Health. I created this GoFundMe in order to help kickstart the long journey of paying down my student loan debt, totaling approx. $36,000. I have $21,493.57 in unsubsidized federal loans and $14,557.28 in subsidized federal loans. I have 7 different loan groups and I was hoping to use GoFundMe & the help of anyone who passes by this fund as a resource to pay off my smallest unsubsidized loan totaling $6,434.52 by 2023 before my loans exit forbearance after I finish my classes.
Your help will go towards uplifting a young Black academic who has in the past:
published an academic paper; guided a group of peers in presenting sexual health and stress management information to hundreds of students & national/regional conferences as the group's student coordinator; finished a 260 hour Planned Parenthood Study Coordinator internship; supported a friend in facilitating focus groups for their incredible Master's thesis; received awards from UConn's Communications Department, Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department, and Rainbow Center for her dedication to serving marginalized populations through volunteer work; and graduated with a double major in 3 years in the face of a bunch of cosmic chaos! Donating to this GoFundMe is an investment in the care I can provide in the future and would support my financial readiness and health.
I’ve attached a video explaining my circumstances, and I’m open to clarifying my situation to anyone who asks. Thank you for taking a peek!
