Hi, this year has been pretty chaotic. From Lee’s emergency vet visit and subsequent treatment of his urinary blockage caused by crystals, to fleas sneakily brought in by my roommate’s new kitten and now the cherry on top, Lee decided I wasn’t struggling enough and decided to poop blood!

To make matters even more financially stressful, my boyfriend and I found two kittens on the road a couple of weeks ago. We took them in and they too had fleas, we to the vet and so far, all is paid for. Same with Lee, however I am still waiting on his current condition to fully clear and if further diagnostic tests are needed, as well as the kittens upcoming spays, I will need extra help.

Normally I would be able to afford these sort of things, but the frequency and uncertainty has left me in a very tough spot financially. I work full-time and have stable housing, as well as access to free and discounted food due to my job in a pet store. I’m definitely going to get him pet insurance but I don’t exactly have a bank account in the positives at the moment and I hate asking for help but genuinely anything is appreciated, even a share.

I love my boy and it feels horrible being in this position.
