Deb's Vietnam Foodie Trip
Donation protected
This is Deb. She's an artist, a foodie, and a go-getter. Travelling and eating good food from all over the world has always been her greatest passion. Unfortunately, her plans to go to Vietnam a couple of years ago were halted when she suffered a stroke that left her with impaired speech and half her body semi-paralysed. This never stopped her from doing what she loves with the support of her carers, still going on road trips around Australia and rehabbing so that she can walk on sand again. Just recently, she was able to feel the sensation of the salty water sweep over her feet as she walked on the sand all by herself.
Now she's ready to take on the world again but with limited NDIS funding and support for herself and the carer, it's looking a bit difficult to get Deb across to Vietnam. With your help, big or small, we can help make her dream come true and empower others with disabilities to still keep living their best life. All funds will go towards the carer who will be accompanying her for a week in Vietnam as NDIS only covers a maximum of 6 hours per day for the carer.
We would greatly appreciate any donations and hope that this trip will encourage people with disabilities and their carers to expand their horizons in what they can achieve together.
