Debs Heart medical fund

Hello, I'm Wesley and I am starting this fund for my best friend and loving wife of 31 years. Less than a week after I got back from working in Alaska all summer my wife suffered a stroke. I didn't have a clue until she tried to speak, she was not able make a sentence or understand anything I was telling her. I knew something wasn't right, so we went straight to the ER.  They confirmed she had a stroke that left her with Aphasia, which affects her speech and comprehension. We also learned that she had rheumatic fever as a child, and what that does later in life. Apparently, it can cause the mitral valve in the heart to harden which can cause blood clots that can lead to strokes. There is a procedure to repair the valve which is quite expensive, unfortunately we have no medical insurance. We are already covered up with medical bills from the two weeks she has already spent in and out of the hospital, along with Deborah needing speech therapy.  Getting her heart repaired seems almost impossible at this time, but we are hopeful.
