Deb’s Healing Journey, Recovering from an Aneurysm
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, neighbors, our community. We humbly come here before you today, asking for love and support for the family of Debbie and Kenny Judd. On July 30th 2024, Deb had an aneurysm. She was rushed to the hospital and into emergency surgery by the grace of God she is doing well in her recovery process today.
Deb is the matriarch of a large family. Both Kenny and Deb have children they brought into their marriage to create a beautiful life together. Both of their children’s other parents have passed away. Deb and Kenny are essential in the lives of all of us kids.
Deb spent two weeks in the ICU. She had 5 emergency surgeries. Aneurysms are complex. The recovery process is delicate. Deb had a mini stroke during the aneurysm. Memory is difficult, but getting better every day. Deb is learning a lot of basic human activities such as learning how to walk again, stairs, etc.
Deb has had a lot of support in the hospital. We are extremely grateful and appreciative of every friend and family member who has been there for her. Kenny had been there every day. He took quite a bit of time off work in the beginning. Going to work, going back to the hospital, then going home to take care of himself has been overwhelming, but somehow he keeps pushing every day. Strength and determination may be some of his best qualities.
Moving forward, Deb is going to require 24/7 care. Kenny’s daughter Katie and family are planning to move to Utah to help with care, appointments, etc. Care is going to be incredibly expensive. We are going to need a lot of help. Our family has a very long journey ahead of us. Thank you for listening to our story. All proceeds go directly to Kenny.
