My name is Dora, I am fundraising for my cousin Deb.

My cousin Deb is the type of person who lights up the room with her sparkling eyes full of love, curiosity, and confidence.

Deb is a chiropractor and nutritionist who has guided hundreds in their healing journeys for many years. Now she is on a healing journey of her own, following a massive hemorrhagic stroke on August 4, 2021, that has left her with paralysis on her left side.

Sharing this journey is her husband Jim, who thankfully was with her when she suddenly collapsed in their home in San Jose, CA. Together Deb and Jim face dramatic changes to their lives and livelihoods such as the loss of her chiropractic practice, moving to a new home, and so many other as yet unknown changes and health care expenses.

While her prognosis is unclear, her husband Jim is overflowing with love as he experiences her small progressions such as signing "I love you" and having her respond by squeezing and holding his hand.

This fundraiser was created to help offset all the expenses facing Deb and Jim. Reducing the tremendous pressure of financial burdens will help Deb and Jim give primary focus to her healing.
