Debra Lentine's Living Memorial is a celebration of her life. Debra started paddling 10 year's ago on shores of Lake Champlain with an organization that helped breast cancer survivors(BCS). Dragonheart Vermont empowers BCS and now all cancer survivors, through friendships, wellness training and the beauty of being on Lake Champlain, feeling good about themselves from April to September.
Debra's passion was this feeling of meeting new friends, feeling fit, a desire to be better and the comeradery seeing everyone each night on the water. Her living memorial will be a brand new - very special dragon boat . Deb's favorite color is blue. She always said Debra Blue and now with your help, a new "Debra Blue" fiberglass dragon boat - 44 feet long with 11 seats holding 22 cancer survivors will understand her passion and feel this love and spirit.
With your help, this will be seen on the Lake Champlain waterfront every night. It will be seen at events like parades as a float and will let people know truly what "Celebration of Life" is about.
