Debra J. Hanson passed away peacefully in her home on September 12, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. She was a mother of four children, grandmother of four grandsons and two grand furbabies, and a loving wife.
Debra was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in 2008. She battled this disease for eleven years as it progressively got worse. Every year got a little harder for her due to a decrease in mobility and an increase of reliance on oxygen machines. Our family has always understood that her illness has no cure, but her death still came suddenly and without any warning.
Debra was in Littleton Regional Hospital’s ICU care for two weeks before we brought her home with hospice.
We greatly appreciate any and all donations made to help offset the costs of end-of-life and medical expenses.
