Debra Becker

It is with a heavy heart that I say my friend, my sister, Debra Becker, passed away on the morning of September 10, 2023. It was very unexpected & she was only 58 years old. Over 10 years ago, Debbie was diagnosed with throat cancer and was never able to make a full recovery. She had a trach to breathe, a feeding tube to eat and even though she was such a fighter, it was difficult for her to take care of herself. Her daughters & i decided to put her in to a rehabilitation center after years of fighting, to try to get better but was never was able to come home. Her daughters Marisa and Brianna and her grandson Jordan, were by her side the entire time along with her brother Eugene, aunt Cheryl & myself. She is loved by so many and this is a very hard time. I’m just asking if anyone can help her two daughters with funeral costs and medical bills to get through this a little easier. I met Debbie over 25 years ago and her two girls were so little, I babysat them for years. They are in their 20s and early 30s now and her grandson that absolutely adored her and she adored him. It is going to be very hard for all of us, especially her daughters, and her grandson to heal. She was an amazing person & did so much for so many people. She was still there for people after everything she went through no matter how hard the day was for her. If she knew you needed to talk, she was the first one to put her pain and feelings aside and be there for you. Her faith got her through a lot, all I can pray for is that she is out of pain and looking down on us, giving us strength to go on.
