Deborah Haynes of Ashland, Ohio is preparing for something truly extraordinary. In November 2026, she will take on The Great World Race: 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. At age 67, Deborah is showing strength, courage, and determination as she faces one of the most demanding endurance challenges in the world. Runners travel from Antarctica to Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, South America, and North America—all in one week.
Deborah is running this race in loving honor of her father, Mayor Don M Richey, a proud Korean Veteran who dedicated his life to God, service, leadership, and his community. His courage and resilience continue to inspire her every day, and Deborah hopes to carry his legacy forward with every step she takes.
Funds raised will help cover the essential costs of this journey: plane transportation, hotel, food, race fees, training, coaching, and medical support equipment. Your support will make it possible for Deborah to pursue her dream and show that age has no limits. We are deeply grateful for any help you can give—whether it’s a donation, prayers, or sharing this fundraiser with others. Thank you for believing in Deborah’s dream and supporting someone who continues to sow courage.
