Hello, My name is Deborah and I am raising money to help scale up my 6 year old business.

My journey began more than 10 years ago when I decided to be part of the solution for America’s broken food system. When I looked around my community I saw people suffering and dying from bad food choices, from illnesses like high blood pressure, diabetes, cancers and more.

Knowing that our food is our medicine and our medicine is in our food, I began to teach plant based cooking classes. Needing to provide a good protein source to replace our over consumption of meat, I created walnut based meat replacement products. They were so well received I took them to local farmer's markets and Nuts for Pâtè was born.

In 2019 I rebranded, changing the name of the business to Walnutlife foods, put the products in a couple of local stores, and things were going well. Then the pandemic started and I lost that momentum. I continued to do farmer's markets through the pandemic. Now, in order to scale up my production to increase distribution I need your help to build out a commercial kitchen. I am seeking to raise $25,000.
