Debi Welton Blankenship Memorial Fund

This is a post that I'm not prepared to make, and spent more time drafting than I'd care to admit. As most of you probably know by now, my sweet mother, and best friend, Debi Welton Blankenship, passed away last Thursday, February 24th surrounded by her family. It's a loss that I don't think I will ever fully recover from, nor would I want to. Before her passing, I promised mom that I would take care of my two furry little sisters Bananaby, and Sugar. Mom treated Sugar and Bananaby like they were her own children. I know I can never raise them with the same motherly love that mom could, but I promised her I'd do my best. Bananaby and Sugar are both special needs dogs. Bananaby is diabetic, blind, and suffers from relatively severe skin allergies which require allergy injections. Sugar suffers from bouts of chronic pancreatitis which can flare up with almost no notice. During this rough transition period, I want to ensure that I can cover all of their potential medical expenses while also completing the final year of my education. All funds will go to supporting the three of us during these rough days to come. I hate to rely on others for support, but I have relied on mom for support throughout the years, and without her there to prop me up, I feel like I'm sinking. Thank you all for loving mom, and carrying her memory in your thoughts, hearts, and stories. Through that, she will live on forever.
