Deborah Nuttall Richardson Brain Cancer Fundraiser

Debby is the younger sister of my best friend Kathy Winner.  I met Debby a few years ago when she came back to Iowa to visit her family.  My first impression of Debby is that she is a person that sees fun in everything and enjoys the crazy things in life.

On Oct. 19th that all changed.  Debby and her husband Randy were driving their semi-truck through Memphis, TN when Debby suddenly became very ill.  Randy had to carry her out of the semi and call 911.  Debby was rushed to the emergency room in Memphis.  After days in the hospital, Debby and her family decided it was best for her to fly back home to California to proceed with a diagnosis.  Fast forward 2 1/2 weeks later, Debby has undergone brain surgery and has been diagnosed with anaplastic oligodendroglioma stage 3 brain cancer. 

Randy has been unable to be by her side due to work obligations since the 911 call in Tennessee. Driving as a team and not having Debby there has created a financial hardship on the two of them, not to mention the numerous medical expenses that they will incur.  

Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated.  The goal is to allow Randy and Debby to be together during her treatments and recovery.
