My sister, Deborah Reagan, was severely injured after being hit by a car on the last weekend of September.  This is the third time she's been hit in an accident. She is in the hospital, and with two broken ankles as well as a broken pelvis,  the recovery could take several months. Deborah has a few pets, and one of them needs constant medication. We are hoping to raise money to either pay someone to come in and take car of her pets or to pay someone to foster a pet while she recovers. We would so appreciate any offers of help from veterinarians or pet boarding facilities as well as any monetary donations. I live in Atlanta and already have two dogs and can't take in more. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Deborah is a child support attorney and has worked for the state as a prosecutor as well. Keep in mind, when you see commercials about accident victims getting huge settlements, that certainly was not the case for Deborah. Her settlement from the first accident didn't even come close to paying her out of pocket expenses. When the driver who hits you has nothing, the insurance pay outs are quite minimal.
