Inna lillahi wa Inna ilaihi raj'ioon

İt is with great sadness that I am fund raising for the funeral costs of my husband's mother who sadly unexpectedly, passed away on 20th March 2026, just a few days after Eid.

Unfortunately the family is unable to cover the full funeral costs which have to be paid in full before the burial. They are hoping to have her buried InshaAllah on Friday 27th March 2026.

The family are under are under a great deal of stress as only a third of the total amount needed is available. The total required is £6000

I have decided to try to raise the funds for them as I believe it is our duty as a community to support them during this difficult time.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Walking with my brother to fulfill his need is more beloved to me than that I should seclude myself in this mosque of mine—meaning the mosque of Medina—for a month."
