Deborah Lynn's Legal Fund
Donation protected
For more than a decade, we've followed the family of Noah Wilson as they've worked together to recover from losing him to cancer. Not only have they had to adjust to the emptiness of this loss, they've also had to come to the realization that though they all grieve together, they ALSO all grieve differently. Eventually, Deb's marriage ended.
In the course of the divorce, they learned a lot about themselves and each other, but Deb felt assured that they would be able to work together for the benefit of their children. When Noah died, the family purchased 3 plots - one for Noah, and one for each parent. It never occurred to her that she would have to fight for the right to be buried next to her son. However, she recently discovered that her name had been removed from one of the plots, and replaced with Noah's stepmom. This change was initiated and carried out without discussion, notification, or consideration for Deb... Noah's mother.
As a community, we frequently ask how we can help each other. We want to help, but often don't know how. We care, but sometimes don't how to show it. As part of Deb's community, this is our time to put words into action.
This fund is being created to help offset the legal expenses as Deb fights for what every parent deserves - the right to be buried next to their child. As you generously contribute, please know that any excess funds will be donated to Noah's non-profit.
Thank you for loving on our girl.
With gratitude,
Deb Winchel
