Hello, my name is Angela, thank you for taking the time to view this link. A short backstory: my mother and I were reunited after 14 years. Sadly, 6 months after our reunification she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Together, we decided to go through with treatment including a mastectomy and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, one month after her mastectomy the doctors discovered that her cancer spread to her liver. Now, 5 month later the cancer has spread throughout the rest of her body and she has a life expectancy of only 3-6 months. Ultimately, I am grateful for the opportunity to share this time on Earth with her before she transitions. As a single mother, I am also thankful that my daughter’s been able to meet and get to know her maternal grandmother. Regardless of anyone’s life story or choices, I believe they deserve a decent home going service. I wish I could do more, but I at least hope to be able to provide a respectful and dignified tribute in her memory. 100% of this fundraiser will go towards her memorial service.
