Deborahs Journey

Donation protected
My name is Deborah, I have lived in alaska my entire life, mostly here in ketchikan. I am very busy in our town I volunteer I donate money and time. I help lots of children and young adults have a safe place or if they need clothes or school supplies. I never have asked for anything in return. But unfortunately I was just recently in the ICU in Ketchikan. I had a sudden drop in blood pressure and massive inflation in my bowels. Possible cause Anaphylaxis allergy reaction. I need to see some specialist that we do not have on our island. I also run and own the Chicke Chicke Bang Bang food truck. Iam quickly falling behind on everything. I really need the help and support to keep my business running and get me to the places I need to help figure out what's happening with me. Sunday afternoon I was at Walmart here in ketchikan smelling candles and started to feel strange. We went home and I just got worse. My stomach swelled and I was dizzy and felt like I was going to go unconscious. My husband drove me to the hospital I lost Consciousness a few times on the way to the hospital I don't really remember the drive there. Once at the hospital they discovered that my blood pressure was sixty over forty very dangerously low. The doctors immediately started running test to figure out what was wrong. I was hardly able to speak and when I was it came out all garbled. They had to tip me upside down to keep the blood in my brain. Next step was epinephrine injection and that helped a little but then they had to have me on an epinephrine and steroid drip to keep my Blood pressure up.
Things that happened that day are humiliating for me to try to discuss but when your body is slowly dying The not so great things start happening, your bowels release your bladder releases people were rushing around poking me drawing blood taking x-rays CT scans. With contrast checking to see if I had some sort of an infection as we thought originally. Filling me with antibiotics. I am very weak still I am on my 2nd day out of ICU. On bed rest. A brush with death has me scared like nothing else. Please help me get to the Dr.s I need to help me. And keep my Food Truck up and running.
