DEBORAH BRUCE KICKBALL TOURNAMENT

Hello All,

My name is Tess and I had the privilege of working along side Deborah Bruce at Boston Medical Center, in the Breast Imaging Center. Deb worked at Boston Medical for 41 years, working many roles including Radiologic Technologist, Clinical Instructor in Radiology, Radiology Supervisor, and Mammography Technologist. Deb was a special person to all of Radiology, and is best known for being a great teacher, and friend. Unfortunately this past May, Deb got diagnosed with cancer. Although she put up a fight, she lost her battle on June 16th 2023. We are holding a kickball fundraiser in her honor, on September 23rd 2023 from 11am - 5 pm at Pete’s Park in the South End (230 Shawmut Avenue, Boston) to raise money to create a scholarship in Deborah's name at Bunker Hill Community College where she once attended for Radiology school. This scholarship will be given to a chosen radiologic technologist student who shares the same qualities as Deb. We ask for donations of $25 a ticket, which includes food, drinks, dj, and fun! Our goal is 5,000 to have a scholarship for a student in honor of Deb for the next 5 years. Thankyou
