Hello Everyone,
Update 6/5/23: You all were amazing and helped me keep things afloat with my house and bills until my Short Term Disability payments kicked in & I'm very thankful. I don't need this latest setback, it just kicks my brain into a higher stress gear which in turn makes the migraines more aggressive.
My short term disability insurance company sent my doctor a message requesting them to resend the information they already required weeks ago to approve me for my payments.
Problem is they sent it to the wrong doctor. You know most doctors (at least mine) won't communicate with one another (for some reason). So the request has been ignored for 10 days. Instead of notifying me so I could get things moving they thought it best to just ignore telling me until I called today wondering where my check was.
They then informed me that because "we" ignored the request my check was not cut. I said there is no "we" because you didn't share that it was needed with me until today when I called you.
So rent is due, I was intending on paying it today using a portion of my check. I am 300.00 short. I hate to ask for help again but this is an emergency. I have updated goal.
Any help is appreciated as it may be a minute before this gets resolved.
There are 3 options to help:

Thank you, Jaime
I didn't really think I would end up asking for additional help.
History of this GoFundMe...
First off I'm not one to usually ask for help, I've worked hard all life except when I medically was unable
My story is one many people across the country and world can relate to and none of us would wish for anyone else to suffer like we do.
I was diagnosed with debilitating migraines back in 2002 and was out of work for 3 months before finding a drug combination that while not eliminating them reduced them from everyday to 3 in a row every few weeks .
These migraines are not only excruciatingly painful but they make you extremely sensitive to light and sound. Sometimes so much so that you get physically sick. I've been out of work for 5 weeks and don't think I'll be able to return anytime soon.
I've applied for temporary disability as well as permanent disability. The first of which takes a few weeks to get going if they don't drag their feet. The latter takes months and sometimes years.
I just need help to get me through the next few weeks so I don't lose my home or my means of transportation. My hope is that 1-2 weeks is how long the short term will need to resolved, but it to could turn into a month or more. If it goes longer and my migraines arent in a controlled state yet who knows what I'll do. $1000.00 buys me 1 month. Any donations over that are a blessing. If all goes well and disability kicks in soon, I will pay this generosity forward to help others as I've always done.
Hopefully one of these meds they are throwing at these migraines will work.
If you can find it in your heart to help me without hurting yourself I would be ever so thankful for any amount you can spare.
