Funeral expenses for Debi Ball.

Donation protected
Most of you know my mom, Debi Ball, and if you know her, she has probably helped you out in some way or another. Mom is currently in the ICU at Baylor, Scott, & White Hospital in College Station. She was admitted through the ER on Friday, January 5th with what presented as pneumonia. Since being admitted, things have not gone well. Her blood pressure and pulse ox have been very low, her pulse has therefore been high to try to compensate for the lack of oxygen. They no longer think this is pneumonia, and are leaning more towards something to do with her autoimmune diseases. The fact is, at this point, they still don't know what is wrong. What we do know is there is permanent damage to her lungs, and currently, she cannot breath on her own. Last night, she was put into a medically induced coma and put on life-support to see if we can stabilize her vitals. That being said, we know we have a long road ahead of us. She will be in the hospital for at least a few weeks and when she gets out she will need at-home care. Ultimately, they have no idea what it is. They are throwing everything at her, and nothing is helping. They are hoping that they get results back from the cultures that will tell us what's going on, so we know how to fight it. As we battle, medical expenses and her bills will be piling up. I was hoping that you could find it in your heart to help her out in her time of need. Anything and everything is very much appreciated. She is the kind of person who has always gone out of her way to help others.

It is, with a very heavy heart, that I tell you that my mom, Debi Ball, didn't win this battle. Ultimately, her autoimmune diseases shut her body down and she left us this morning at 5:15. Please continue to send all prayers, thoughts, and warm wishes to my family at this time. We are shook and devastated. None of us were ready. In truth, I'm not sure we ever will be. I am keeping the go fund me open to raise money for funeral costs. I'm so sorry to all of you who knew her. She really did try to fight. She was so strong. But, in the end, her diseases won. I love you momma. Rest in Peace.
