Help the Owners of Anthony's Pizza

The picture above is of my parents watching their business Anthony's Pizza burn to the ground. They were woken up at 1am from a phone call not knowing  their hard work was about to vanish.L'immagine qui sopra è dei miei genitori che guardano il loro business Anthony Pizza bruciare a terra . Sono stati svegliati all'una del mattino da una telefonata non sapendo che il loro duro lavoro stesse per svanire.


This was when the fire just began and did not really reach my parents business. They had high hopes that the fire department could put the fire out but unfortunately the fire was too strong and took out all the businesses and apartments.

Questo è stato quando il fuoco appena iniziato non avendo ancora raggiunto la loro attività. Avevano grandi speranze che i vigili del fuoco avrebbero potuti spegnere il fuoco, ma purtroppo il fuoco era troppo forte e ha preso tutte le imprese e gli appartamenti .


The fire department later decided to demolish everything leaving my parents and many other business owners out in the streets.
I vigili del fuoco hanno deciso di demolire tutto lasciando i miei genitori e molti altri imprenditori in mezzo alla strada



Looking back in time, the pizzeria was a place that brought happiness with great food, where many Italian-Americans would gather.  It was a family business...my father and mother ran it together and made sure every customer was treated as best as could be.  We were a big part of the pizzeria as well...my sister and I would answer phones and go on deliveries when we didn't have school throughout the years.  Our little brother was in there everyday after school, he even learned to make his own pizza. It was more than just a pizzeria, it was a home to many.  Especially to the many Italian paesans that would visit from our small town, Novi Velia as if the pizzeria was a tourist spot.  

Guardando indietro, Anthony’s pizza era la nostra seconda casa. Un punto di ritrovo per molti italo-americani, per molti americani ma soprattutto per tutti gli Italiani  emigrati qui, o venuti in vacanza. Le pareti della pizzeria erano piene di foto di tutti i nostri amici e dei nostri clienti, tutti facevano parte della nostra vita. La nostra porta era aperta a tutti.  

Anthony's Pizza shouldn't be just a memory.  We would like to ask on behalf of my family for help to start making the best pizza again! We love our parents very much and hate to see them go through this hard time. Our parents really need the help to relocate the business and keep all of their customers.  They are very hard working and love being in the pizzeria business.  We appreciate any gesture to get them back on their feet.  Thank you!  

Anthony’s Pizza non deve rimanere solo un ricordo.
 Noi dobbiamo fare qualcosa, ma abbiamo bisogno dell’auto di tutti, non solo economico ma soprattutto del vostro affetto. Vogliamo bene ai nostri genitori e ci dispiace vederli soffrire in questo momento difficile.  Hanno bisogno di sapere che Anthony’s pizza e` ancora importante per tutti voi. Noi non sappiamo se riusciremmo con il vostro supporto a ritornare attivi, ma ci proveremo con tutte le nostre forze.!!!
