Sadly, my family ended 2021 with the loss of my grandmother, Debe Mixon. She spent her last days fighting stage four breast cancer with the aid and support of my 26 year old aunt, Taylor Mixon by her side until the end. My grandma was a fighter, she was one of the strongest and most independent women I will ever know in my life & we never expected to lose her so soon. She now joins my great grandmother, Laura Mae Chapel, that we also lost back in June of 2021.

In the midst of funeral planning we have run into some unexpected obstacles as one of my great uncles pulled out of a financial promise & no longer wishes to let my grandma rest beside my great grandma. As Mixon's do, we wish to do what's right & proceed with things the way my grandma would have wanted. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this time & would mean the world to my dad, my aunt Taylor, my great uncle Tim & the rest of my family as well.
