Aid Firefighter; Recover Stolen PPE

Debby Sumida is a member of the Chemeketa Community College Fire Suppression Program. As a part of the program she is responsible for a full-time fire science & suppression class schedule as well as provide emergency services in Marion County, Oregon as a volunteer firefighter on E-305. On May 15th, 2017 the night after working a 24-hr shift, her car was stolen from her home. The items in her car include: firefighting PPE(Personal Protective Equipment), uniform, books, and other personal items. As a student she must replace all of this gear at her own cost. It is my hope to help support a student and aspiring firefighter that gives back to her community by offsetting the large cost associated with replacing these items.
