As many of you already know, the past couple of years have been medically tasking on Debbie. From the MAJOR stroke in November of 2023 forcing her to stop working to this years emergency colonostomy which also led to seizures because of complications from the brain damage from the stroke. Throughout all of this we have been applying for and denied TWICE for her social security disability and STILL have a pending application for medicaid. I've taken this summer to work with her for home rehabilitation which many of you have seen the improvement in her firsthand.

On September 30th she is scheduled for the reverse surgery of her colonostomy with STILL no insurance. We were called today from the hospital saying they want at LEAST 19000 for 2 days NOT counting the surgeon, anesthesiologist, imaging. The surgeon said she'd be in the hospital ATLEAST 5 days so we have no idea what the final cost will be.

I can't do it alone anymore, we're worn out trying We'll know more tomorrow after Debs pre-op appointment if they're willing to go ahead with the surgery to improve her quality of life but in the mean time we still need to raise money for the surgery one way or another.
