Debbie’s Medical Rehab Expenses

Hello, my name is Mindy Little, I am the organizer of fundraising for my stepmom, Debbie. Debbie, as many of you know is an outgoing, charismatic, funny and loving Quilt Lady. Someone who always puts her family and friends first before herself. As most of you know on August 7th, Debbie was at home in her kitchen when she suffered from a stroke. Thankfully, my dad, Chris was there to call 911 and get her to immediate care. After being helicoptered to another hospital and spending many days in ICU, she has been moved to a rehab facility. The rehab she is currently in isn’t enough for Debbie to heal. Debbie currently does not have use of her left side of her body and is needing what is called acute rehab which is unfortunately very expensive. With all that Debbie and my dad have been through, the added stress of the financial burden for great care is something we are trying to help them with.

Update:

Debbie is needing both physical occupational and speech therapy in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. The facility is about $1700 a day and she could be in there 10-21 days.
