Debbie's Fight to the Finish
Donation protected
Our beloved & sweet Debbie went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 9th, 2019 at 2:26am. (226 was her lucky number and we don't believe that this was merely a coincidence). This warrior of a woman battled breast cancer for 7 years, even went into remission, and continued to fight valiantly until she took her very last breath. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of all who knew her and made sure that they felt her warm, inspiring, and fierce love. Debbie battled many unimaginable obstacles throughout her journey. This particular round of trials & tribulations began back in December with a bout of pneumonia which sent her spiraling into May where she began her multiple visits to the ICU, undergoing countless procedures and ending up on life support, all due to the aggressive nature of this cancer. She was happy to be home on September 12th to celebrate her 64th birthday with family. After that, she went back into the ICU where she passed peacefully with her loved ones right by her side. She would want everyone to know that she fought hard, she never gave up, and she kept that beautiful smile on her face until the very end.
In lieu of flowers, food, gifts, etc. the family is asking for generous donations towards this account in honor of Debbie and her fight against metastatic breast cancer. This will help our family with the financial hardships that have come along with many months in the ICU as well as funeral costs. We thank you all for your kind support and we love you very much. <3
