Support for Lauren Zaslav

Our dear friend Lauren lost her sweet mom, Debbie Zaslav, to a very aggressive cancer about 2 weeks after being diagnosed. Lauren, her only child, is devastated and in complete shock.

Debbie was rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago. She had a large tumor in her sinuses that took an extremely quick turn for the worse. Lauren has dropped everything and has been at Hoag Hospital in the ICU around the clock.

This tragedy - on its own, is way too much for Lauren to navigate, but as you know she lost her beloved dad Barry (Buzz Baz) to Leukemia a few short years ago, with zero time to prepare.

No one should have to cope with such a devastating loss, but having both parents die in such a short amount of time has been a nightmare. As you can imagine, Lauren is now facing hospital bills, cremation costs, and many other unforeseen expenses that she was obviously not prepared for. This is far too much for her to endure while maintaining her own life and career!

Lauren now has to juggle everything associated with losing her only parent, all while grieving, working full time, content creating for Rent the Runway, slaying lewks, and taking care of herself! This is just unthinkable - even for our strong Slawb!

We know Lauren has always turned to retail therapy when times are tough, but she will need some actual therapy this time around. Lauren has specifically asked us to create this GoFundMe so she can prioritize her mental health with a therapist during this difficult time.
