Debbie Sue's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Debbie Sue Panos ( Barreto) is a great woman, wife, mother of two, daughter, sister, aunt and friend of so many people. She is a very compassionate, caring individual who is loved by so many. Everyone who knows Debbie, loves her!
Sadly, Debbie Sue has recently been diagnosed with cancer in May 2017. After several appointments involving various tests, it was confirmed that Debbie has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue. It most frequently starts from one of the adrenal glands. This type of cancer is extremely rare in adults, as there are typically fewer than 20,000 adult cases in the U.S. per year. Common symptoms of Neuroblastoma include fatigue, fever, loss of appetite and joint pain. Neuroblastoma is a infant cancer and there are only one in 10 million adults cases. Finding the right treatment is very hard due to the few adults who have had this. there has not been enought documented cases.
As you can imagine, the past few weeks have been extremely stressful and draining both physically and emotionally on Debbie and her family as they continue to seek medical advice to find the best treatment options for her. Debbie recently had a consultation with oncology physicians at the University of Michigan. The providers at U of M recommended that Debbie seek further medical advice to evaluate the progress of her disease state and recommendations for treatment.
This is not going to be an easy road for Debbie and her family. Not only is this family going through a lot emotionally, but they will also face financial stress. At this time, Debbie is unable to work and Jim is unable to work full time because he needs to be with Debbie to support her while she is going through her treatment.
Debbie Sue and her family needs everyone’s love and support more now than ever. Many of you may be wondering what you can do to help and support the Panos family during this difficult time. This is why I am starting this GoFundMe page for Debbie Sue and her family. They need help with all of the medical bills will not be covered by insurance and daily living expenses to run the household for the family of four. Debbie and her family have a long journey ahead and need all of the help that they can get. If we can help with by decreasing financial stress, the Panos family can spend more time focusing on Debbie’s treatment and quality of life. If you are able to, we would appreciate your contribution to Debbie Sue Panos’ GoFundMe page. Any amount of money would be greatly appreciated, as every little bit will help during these tough times. Let us help Debbie Sue fight cancer! We will keep you updated along this journey. We appreciate your love, prayers and support!
