Debbie Ostlund’s Medical Bills for Lung Cancer Treatment

Hi, it’s Ellen, Mark and Tami Ostlund and we are setting up this platform to give people an opportunity to help our Aunt Debbie with her medical bills.

Debbie was diagnosed with pretty advanced lung cancer last fall and she has been diligently engaging with her doctors in her treatment plan since then. She has had a combination of radiation and chemo since October and the cancer seems to be responding to treatment which is great. Her next phase of treatment is immunotherapy infusions once a month for the next year.

As you can imagine, going through cancer treatment is stressful and overwhelming, not to mention expensive. While Debbie’s insurance has covered a portion of her treatment she still has $3,000 of medical bills she needs to pay out of pocket. While we can take away the stress of treatment we thought maybe we could help the financial part not be as stressful.

This Sunday….April 28th we will be celebrating the 7th Annual Ozzie’s day (hard to believe Bill has been gone for 7 years, oh how we miss him) While we miss him, we are confident that he would be helping Deb in any way he could have with her treatment. So, on Ozzie’s day this year, we thought we would give people an opportunity to help Debbie in any way they can, anything helps her out whether it is a small or big amount!

We’ve had so many people ask how they can help and up until now there haven’t been a ton of tangible ways to help, but man oh man would this is a gift to Debbie.

We are rooting for Debbie, she has been brave and persistent through this process.
